Rock Paper Scissors is the world's most widely played hand game, with origins tracing back to the Chinese Han Dynasty (206 BC to 220 AD), where it was known as shoushiling. The modern Japanese version, jan-ken-pon, spread to the West in the early 20th century and became a universal method for settling disputes and making decisions. Most players are not random. Studies show beginners favor Rock — it feels strong and solid. After losing with Rock, players tend to switch to Paper. After Paper, they switch to Scissors. Good players deliberately throw the same move three times in a row to train their opponent, then switch. Most people, after winning with Rock, throw Rock again or rotate to Paper. After a loss they switch. The AI scores those transitions. A concrete anti-pattern: decide the next five throws before the round starts — for example Paper, Scissors, Paper, Rock, Scissors — then play them in order regardless of the result. When the list ends, write a new one. Do not update it based on the last outcome; that is how the model catches you.
If you must improvise, invert your habit: after a win, throw the move that would have lost to your last throw. After a loss, repeat the same throw once.
